We make learning fun.
Uli Hoffmeier runs a YouTube channel where he occasionally posts various articles on the subject of rhythm guitar in big bands, combos and orchestras. Interested parties can also request lessons as free PDFs.
The PDFs were and are free, but due to the increasing demand, a donation is requested. In the past, there were only a few requests, but the number has increased dramatically and it is now really work to meet the demand. Please give whatever you can and want and use my email address “uli_hoffmeier@yahoo.de” for payment with PayPal.
When coaching bands (big band, rhythm section, combo), Uli Hoffmeier can draw on his experience from countless performances and rehearsals. Courses in big band conducting with Jiggs Whigham give him the tools to develop concrete musical results and provide detailed tips. The violin lessons he enjoyed at a young age and the playing experience in a classical orchestra allow aspects of this way of making music to flow into his coaching. As a trained style and color consultant, he is aware of the importance of extra-musical factors for overall stage presence and presentation; the workshops he has attended, for example with Samy Molcho, or his stage experience as an actor in the children's music theater “Atze,” also flow into his well-founded advice.
