Gitarresque

The current program “Guitar Talk” spans an arc from the pioneers of the plectrum guitar such as Nick Lukas and Eddie Lang, Django Reinhardt and classical jazz guitarists like Charlie Christian, Herb Ellis or Wes Montgomery to modern styles of playing and original compositions. The sophisticated arrangements for two 7-string guitars spur the two guitarists on in their creative joy of playing, while the charmingly packaged information about pieces and composers, as well as discreetly interspersed anecdotes, establish direct contact with the audience.
